First Aid for the Workplace
NZQA Unit Standards are available on all eligible sessions. They are included in the session fee on private group sessions and as an optional add-on for public course registrations.
First aid is the immediate and basic care given to an injured or sick person before a doctor, other health professional or emergency services take over.
Providing first aid is an important part of providing a safe and healthy work environment but it does not replace the need to assess work risks and eliminate or minimise.
Under the Health and Safety at Work (General Risk and Workplace Management) Regulations 2016, PCBUs have a duty to provide first aid for their workers at work.
If you are not sure which course is best for your team, give us a call on 0800 FACT CO and we will be glad to offer some guidance.
