Prerequisites

  • English language proficiency
  • Physical agility (bending and kneeling)

Designed For

This non-certificate session is designed for caregivers of infants and young children to be prepared at home who need to learn CPR and how to assist a young person who is choking.

A Community Support Course

We run this course as part of our Giving Back program. Your session fee is a koha which is gratefully received. Your koha is non-refundable and not transferable. 100% of your contribution is donated to a charitable community organisation.

    Comprehensive First Aid with Pre-Reading (12 Hours)

    1 day, 08:00 AM - 04:30 PM
    8 hours classroom learning with 4 hours Pre-reading and assessment. Also known as Level 2, this Comprehensive First Aid course is recommended for all workplaces, especially those with a medium-to-high risk profile. Includes assessment for Unit Standards: 6402, 6401 & 6400.

    Resuscitation Course for Vaccinators (3 Hours)

    3 hours, 08:00 AM - 11:00 AM
    All vaccinators, by virtue of their occupation, need to be able to resuscitate patients and therefore need to achieve and maintain resuscitation skills.
